As solo pianist, Margot has performed many other pieces for ballets, especially on tour with N.B.T. and with the Frankfurt Ballet. She has performed William Forsythe's magnificent ballet "Artifact" with several ballet companies, including the Frankfurt Ballet and the Dutch National Ballet. In September 2004 she performed the new version called "Artifact Suite" for Scottish Ballet in Glasgow and Edinburgh, and in 2006 at Sadler's Wells. In April and May 2008 she played it also for the Paris Opera Ballet who did 18 peformances at the Opera Bastille in Paris, to great critical acclaim.
Hi! Margot loves playing for children and students too, playing for the past two years for Andrew Ward's "DanceForward", the popular Easter course for children held annually at Dulwich College near London, and regularly for students at Performers College and at DanceEast in Ipswich .
I hope you will enjoy dancing to the music on these CDs as much as I enjoyed playing the piano!

Playing for dancers for 25 years has taught me many things - how to make music "dance" being one of them - and the importance of giving teachers and students the best possible musical support in their ballet class. I use melodies from opera, ballet, classical and popular music,
to ensure a variety of music to accompany the exercises and inspire.
